Gear Up for PA Week

PA Week 2009 is October 6-12. Sponsored by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the event "is intended to support, celebrate, highlight, and recognize the significant impact PAs have made and continue to make in health care. It is an opportunity to promote public awareness of the physician assistant profession and to salute the outstanding growth of the PA workforce," the organization says.

AAPA emphasizes the importance of raising awareness about PAs and their role in healthcare and encouraging advocacy throughout the week.
